Description

A simple and delicious cornbread stuffing casserole perfect for holiday meals.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté celery and onion in butter until soft.
  3. In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, sautéed vegetables, broth, eggs, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix well and transfer to a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
