Description

A quick and easy stir fry with crispy tofu and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Toss tofu cubes in cornstarch until coated.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry tofu until crispy, then set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  4. Add bell pepper and carrot, stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  5. Return tofu to the pan, add soy sauce and water. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.

Notes

  • Press tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess water.
  • Adjust soy sauce to taste.
  • Serve with rice or noodles.
