Description
A quick and easy stir fry with crispy tofu and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Toss tofu cubes in cornstarch until coated.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry tofu until crispy, then set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
- Add bell pepper and carrot, stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Return tofu to the pan, add soy sauce and water. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
Notes
- Press tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess water.
- Adjust soy sauce to taste.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
