Description

Crispy air fryer tofu nuggets served with a creamy peanut sauce for a delicious and healthy snack or meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt.
  3. Toss tofu cubes in the mixture until coated.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Place tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk peanut butter, soy sauce, maple syrup, lime juice, water, and sriracha.
  8. Serve tofu nuggets with peanut sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
  • Adjust sriracha to your preferred spice level.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
