Description
A refreshing and creamy cucumber salad perfect for summer picnics or as a side dish.
Ingredients

- 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Place cucumber slices in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 10 minutes to drain excess water.
- Rinse cucumbers and pat dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Add cucumbers, dill, and red onion to the bowl.
- Toss gently to coat evenly.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
- Best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
