Description
A flavorful and easy-to-make Cajun shrimp pasta dish with a creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- 12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté bell pepper and onion for 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce. Toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Use fresh shrimp for best results.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if desired.
