Description
This Crack Burgers recipe is a cheesy, bacon-loaded twist on the classic burger, packed with flavor and perfect for weeknight dinners or summer cookouts.
Ingredients
1 ½ lb ground chuck
3 Tbsp sour cream
2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Hamburger buns
Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo (for topping)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine ground chuck, sour cream, ranch mix, cheddar, and bacon.
2. Mix gently just until combined—don’t overwork the meat.
3. Form into 4-6 patties, about ½ inch thick. Make a small dimple in the center.
4. Cook on skillet or grill over medium heat, 4–5 minutes per side, until 160°F inside.
5. Let patties rest 2–3 minutes before serving.
6. Toast buns and add optional toppings as desired.
Notes
Use sharp cheddar for the boldest flavor.
Freeze patties between parchment paper for future use.
Avoid pressing the burgers while cooking to keep them juicy.
