Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Cut in chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half the mixture into the pan to form the crust.
  5. Toss apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Spread over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.
