Description
A delicious cinnamon apple pie served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup butter, chilled
- 5–6 tbsp cold water
- 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add water gradually until dough forms.
- Divide dough in half and roll out for pie crust.
- In another bowl, mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Pour apple mixture into pie crust and dot with butter.
- Cover with top crust, seal edges, and cut slits.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- Use Granny Smith apples for best results.
- Chill dough before rolling for easier handling.
- Serve warm for best flavor.
