Ingredients

1 pound penne pasta

1/2 pound cooked chicken breast, chopped or shredded

6 slices cooked bacon, chopped

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup milk (2% or whole)

3/4 cup salted butter

8 oz cream cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

1. Cook penne in salted boiling water until just al dente; drain.

2. In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Add cream, milk, and cream cheese, whisking until smooth.

3. Stir in Parmesan and garlic powder; cook until thickened and creamy.

4. Add chicken, bacon (reserve some for topping), and ranch dressing; mix well.

5. Combine pasta with sauce mixture. Spread in a greased 9×13 baking dish.

6. Top with mozzarella and reserved bacon.

7. Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

8. Let rest 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep. Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra veggies. To freeze, assemble but do not bake—wrap well and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight before baking as directed.
