Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually blend dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
