Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (for topping)
  • 1/4 tsp dried parsley (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Add milk and mix just until dough comes together.
  6. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush over warm biscuits.
  9. Serve immediately.
