- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (for topping)
- 1/4 tsp dried parsley (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add milk and mix just until dough comes together.
- Drop dough by spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush over warm biscuits.
- Serve immediately.
