Ingredients

- 1/2 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- Pinch of black pepper (optional)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Mix oats, milk, water, and honey in a jar or bowl.
- Add cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, and black pepper.
- Stir in chia seeds if using.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- Stir before serving and add toppings if desired.
