- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 4 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Press half the mixture into the pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread over crust.
- Sprinkle remaining crumble on top. Bake for 30 minutes.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over cooled bars. Cut into squares.
