Description
This Caprese Pasta Salad is a fresh, zesty twist on a classic—loaded with tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and homemade vinaigrette. Perfect for summer meals!
Ingredients
Vinaigrette Dressing:
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
2–3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 clove minced garlic
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Caprese Pasta Salad:
½ pound dried pasta (farfalle or similar)
8 ounces mozzarella pearls or cubed mozzarella
2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
¼ cup fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
2. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
4. Drizzle with the vinaigrette and toss gently until well combined.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
6. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes.

You can prep this salad ahead of time and store the components separately.
