- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, quartered
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the turkey.
- Sprinkle Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper evenly.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, garlic, and onion.
- Place the turkey on a sheet pan.
- Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer for accurate doneness.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Baste turkey with pan juices halfway through cooking.
