Description

A flavorful dish combining spicy Cajun shrimp with creamy cauliflower grits.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 head cauliflower, grated
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add grated cauliflower and broth. Cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve shrimp over cauliflower grits and garnish with parsley.
