Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, peeled and sliced

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss butternut squash and apples with melted butter.
  3. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Sprinkle spice mixture over squash and apples, toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until squash is tender.
  7. Serve warm.
