Description

A simple and flavorful side dish featuring tender broccolini tossed in a zesty lemon-caper butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add broccolini and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender. Drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in capers, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add broccolini to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve immediately.
