Description
A warm and nutritious porridge made with blackberries and almonds.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups milk (or almond milk)
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine oats, milk, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
- Add blackberries and vanilla extract, cook for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey.
- Top with sliced almonds before serving.
Notes
- Use frozen blackberries if fresh aren’t available.
- Adjust honey to taste.
- For a creamier texture, cook longer.
