Description

Berry crumble bars are a delicious gluten-free dessert with a buttery crust and fruity filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups mixed berries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Press half the mixture into a greased 8×8 pan.
  5. Combine berries, lemon juice, sugar, and cornstarch.
  6. Spread berry mixture over crust.
  7. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool before cutting into bars.
