Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 jalapeno, diced
1 pound ground beef
½ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.
2. Stir in diced bell peppers and jalapeño. Cook for about 5 minutes until slightly tender.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Brown the meat, breaking it up with a spoon.
4. Once cooked through, add soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
5. Simmer for 5 minutes until flavors meld and sauce thickens slightly.
6. Serve hot over cooked rice with your favorite toppings.
