Description

This balsamic glazed salmon is sweet, tangy, and baked to perfection. An easy dinner made with pantry ingredients and big flavor.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lb. salmon fillet

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic, minced or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Combine the sauce ingredients and stir to mix. Divide sauce into half.

2. Marinate the salmon fillet with half the sauce in the fridge for 30 minutes.

3. Arrange the salmon on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes depending on thickness.

4. Baste the salmon with the leftover marinade halfway through.

5. Dish and serve hot drizzled with the other half of the sauce.

Notes

You can swap garlic for garlic powder.

Make the glaze ahead of time and store in the fridge for 3 days.

Serve with rice, salad, or roasted vegetables.
