Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup water (for baking dish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Core the apples, leaving the bottom intact to hold the filling.
  3. In a bowl, mix oats, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Spoon the filling into each apple, packing lightly.
  5. Place apples in a baking dish with 1/4 cup water.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until apples are tender.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
