Delicious baked cinnamon crumb donuts with a soft texture and sweet cinnamon topping.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For topping: 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a donut pan.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Whisk wet ingredients separately.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fill donut pan 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Mix topping ingredients in a bowl.
- Dip warm donuts in melted butter, then cinnamon sugar mixture.
Notes
- Don’t overmix the batter
- Let donuts cool slightly before topping
- Store in airtight container for up to 3 days
