Ingredients

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk apple cider, milk, sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until smooth.
  5. Fill donut pan cavities 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
