Instructions

- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then coat in cinnamon sugar.
- Place on baking sheets 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
