Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour (for crumb topping)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (for crumb topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, egg, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
  3. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle diced apples over the batter.
  5. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter for the crumb topping.
  6. Sprinkle the crumb topping over the apples.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.
