Description
Crispy, golden mozzarella sticks made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients

- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray
- Marinara sauce for serving
Instructions
- Cut each mozzarella stick in half.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and water, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
- Coat each mozzarella piece in flour, dip in egg mixture, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Place coated sticks on a plate and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly spray mozzarella sticks with cooking spray.
- Arrange sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 6 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Freezing prevents cheese from melting too quickly.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil.
