- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Drain pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss to coat with the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving.

- Use fresh lemon for the best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
- Substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu if preferred.
